1/ She cries for my help, she says she scared, she just wants to be held. But, I see that her body is already starting to rot.

2/ Last night my wife and I had a long talk about having kids. It was only when I woke up this morning to an empty bed and a empty house that I remembered why we never would.

3/ Dad is waiting up for me in his favorite when I get back. His body is a bloody invitation calling me home.

4/ I would like to say everything went back to normal after my neighbor got out of the hospital and moved away. But, then there would be no reason for me to chain my door shut from the inside.

5/ Things have been strange at home since I came back home and found my brother. For one no matter how much I clean up after him he always leaves puddles of water around the house.

6/ I wait until I’m filthy, caked with the dirt and sweat of three weeks of living on the streets, until I can’t stand the stench of myself. Then I stand outside in the rain where the droplets on the pavement sound like my son begging to be saved.
